About
Jeff Stine studies and builds systems for radical innovation and long-horizon discovery. He leads Project Aeon, writes The Long Horizon, and is working on a forthcoming nonfiction book, Selecting the Future: The Hidden Architecture of Innovation. He also serves as an Executive in Residence at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
His perspective is shaped by experience as a risk capital portfolio manager, board chair and director, and strategic advisor. He created and managed two venture funds and previously worked at Lazard, advising companies on mergers, acquisitions, and investment decisions.
Earlier, Jeff served as a U.S. Army infantry officer, including multiple overseas tours. He holds an MBA from Chicago Booth and graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor of Science from Virginia Tech. He is based in Chicago.
