Jeff Stine

Jeff Stine studies and builds systems for radical innovation and long-horizon discovery. He leads Project Aeon, writes The Long Horizon, and is working on a forthcoming nonfiction book, Selecting the Future: The Hidden Architecture of Innovation. He also serves as an Executive in Residence at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

His work draws on experience as an early-stage investor, board chair and director, and strategic advisor. He created and managed two Africa-focused venture funds and previously worked at Lazard, advising companies on mergers, acquisitions, and investment decisions.

Earlier, Jeff served as a U.S. Army infantry officer, including multiple overseas tours. He holds an MBA from Chicago Booth and a BS from Virginia Tech. He is based in Chicago.
