Institution-building

Project Aeon

Project Aeon is building new ways to fund and sustain frontier, heterodox, long-horizon science overlooked by short-term, risk-averse systems. It provides patient capital and community for open-ended exploration and discovery.

The effort grew from a concern that many potentially consequential scientific questions are never pursued because prevailing systems reward speed, certainty, and legibility. Project Aeon works to create more room for inquiry that is difficult to predict, justify, or compress.

Jeff leads Project Aeon as part of his broader work on how institutions find, fund, and sustain consequential new ideas.
